Hello, my seasoned readers and friends! Oh, how long it’s been! We are deep into a fresh Iowa snowstorm and Advent season is nearly upon us. It feels like a good time to reconnect. In short, life has changed significantly in the last five years. Good things, hard things, unexpected things. Writing anything simply dropped to the wayside to leave space for all the things that needed to be sorted out. But there it was, waiting to be picked up again, just like I had never left. Just like an old friend.
And now it seems to proper to close a chapter, turn the page, and invite you, my loyal readers and friends, to something fresh and new. I would love for you to find me on my new website, kellyhavemeier.com. There you will find a fresh blog, links to other writing projects, both online and print, and hopefully some other surprises soon. I do not intend to share again on this blog, so I hope you will follow me to new adventures using the links at the end of this post.
Don’t worry, Blue Jeans & Coffee Beans and Coffee in Eden will remain for now so we can visit whenever we choose. (And old stories may resurface from time to time.)
